Sherwood Gardens is a 6-acre park in Baltimore's Northern Baltimore neighborhood of Guilford. East Highfield, Underwood, Stratford, and Greenway Roads all run beside the grounds.
Yes, the gardens are free to see, but we do hope you will consider making a donation. Sherwood Gardens receives no public financing. Tulips, summer flowers, perennials, tree care, and park maintenance are all reliant on donations and volunteers.
Tulip Show: From April to May, we have our annual spring tulip display. The last week of April is usually the best time to watch movies.
The gardens were exclusively open to the public in early May during the Sherwood years, but now that they are owned and maintained by the Guilford Association, which ensures that bulbs are planted, trees are trimmed, and beds are mulched, they can be viewed all year."
Sherwood Gardens is more than six acres in area and has no gates, fences, or other impediments. Although it is a private park, the public is welcome to roam about the grounds at their leisure.
