The Baltimore Museum of Art (BMA) was founded in 1914 and is located in Baltimore, Maryland, United States. The BMA's worldwide famous collection of 95,000 pieces includes over 1,000 works by Henri Matisse, as well as one of the nation's best holdings of prints, drawings, and photographs, centered by the Cone Collection of modern art.
The BMA's general entry is always free. Reservations are required to visit the Baltimore Museum of Art at this time in order to provide adequate social distance for our visitors and employees.
The Museum is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. until 5 p.m.

Director Christopher Bedford, who was appointed in May 2016 after a year-long search, presently leads the BMA. Bedford was the director of the Rose Art Museum at Brandeis University in Massachusetts for four years before joining the BMA.
